Description

The 2023 virtual HAVAN Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be conducted from 12:00 – 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. 

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AGENDA

  • Approval of the October 5 Annual Election Meeting minutes 
  • Presentation and approval of HAVAN’s Audited Financial Statements (to be sent to members)
  • Approval of the auditors
  • Presentation of the BCIT Scholarships

Note that one only representative from each member company can vote/approve.

HAVAN will also be announcing the 2023 recipients of the HAVAN BCIT Scholarships to the School of Construction and the Environment, sponsored in-part by Centra Cares, and funded by the HAVAN Fall Classic Golf Tournament.

The inaugural Women's Council Scholarship Funds in support of encouraging underrepresented people, including young women, to consider the residential construction industry as a first choice when exploring career paths will also be presented to BCIT in support of their new ACE Program. ACE (Architecture, Construction and Engineering) is helping to connect high school students and the industry, and we are pleased to support this program in partnership with our supporting members Qualico Developments, FortisBC and BC Housing.
