Building Offsite Sustainable Systems (BOSS) is a flexible and sustainable housing system, designed to meet the needs of diverse communities throughout British Columbia. It's an offsite, wood-based construction solution that incorporates passive house principles, low embodied carbon materials, and 100% electric and renewable energy sources. An innovation launched by HAVAN-member b Collective, BOSS is the first open-sourced system for designing and constructing zero-carbon buildings in Vancouver.
