As a contractor I understand what the ebbs and flows can be like.

Sometimes we need that push but maintaining quality is a challenge. Going to labour-hire companies, truth be told, are only any good if we need someone to push a barrow or dig a trench, and that could even be up for debate.

So I have decided to provide a solution for that need.

Our guys are of the highest character, ranging from apprentices to project leads.

I am a qualified carpenter by trade and have built a successful award-winning company in New Zealand prior to migrating to Canada. We won awards for homes judged to be in the top 100 built in the country.

My work is featured on James Hardie’s website along with many others, so, this means I know what to look for in a good chippie.

I break 'em in: some of my apprentices, on their first day, work with me until the following morning to see how bad they want it and if they turn up the next day.

Character is everything, guys that tell us they have been doing it since the age of dinosaurs is great, but my question is if your that good and been doing it that long why are you asking me for a job then?

We can teach a guy to build, but you can’t teach a guy good character and values, that is his to find on his own.

My guys are currently working on the best of the best,I am proud to say. Homes $30 Million plus in budget and a few other high-end West Vancouver jobs. So why then are we wanting to create this high spec labour-hire company? Because, at heart, although being a qualified carpenter, I am a businessman. After surveying the land here and factoring the risk of our industry, I see there is a gap and a need in the market. 

Providing you with high quality carpenters and carpenters' apprentices will be our priority. I will put my reputation to the test. It is simple, Day 1 you will get a feel, Day 2 you will know. If after two days my troops are not what I say they are and can do, don't pay me for those two days. Obviously this is a risk for me, but, I am a straight shooter and a contractor at heart so I know what we need. I am in business to provide quality services build strong relationships so everyone wins.
